Complex Trauma therapy team
Family Futures has a multidisciplinary therapy team who all have clinical experience and expertise in working with attachment and trauma. Each of our therapists is qualified in their discipline and registered to practice in the UK with governing bodies such as HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
Our therapists follow a treatment approach for children and young people that is neuro-sequential – selecting the most appropriate intervention to support different levels of the brain, depending on each child’s needs. The research-evidenced holistic therapy model that Family Futures has developed is called ‘Neuro-Physiological Psychotherapy’ (NPP), based on the latest evidence from medical research, neuroscience and our clinical experience with healing developmental trauma.
Our team is made up of people from all walks of life, including those from various countries, the LGBTQ+ community, adoptive parents, and neurodiverse individuals. We celebrate our differences and believe that our unique experiences make us stronger and more empathetic. We’re passionate about what we do, and we’re committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
