Each child placed with our iAdopt parents receives the first year of therapeutic support for free. In collaboration with the child’s social worker and placing authority we design a bespoke therapeutic package designed to support each child’s first year of placement. iAdopt: Assessment, Placement and Therapeutic Support
iAdopt and Family futures is a not for profit organisation (CIC) who recruit prospective
adopters in the London area. iAdopt being part of Family Futures use the in-house
experience of 22 years of post-adoption services to assess and prepare adopters to become
therapeutic parents and be able to consider children with additional and specific needs. We recognise that all children with a plan of adoption have had adverse experiences that have caused harm and trauma. We want to help children heal and repair and have parents who can see beyond the behaviour, empathise and therapeutically parent. We are recruit and train potential adopters who are aligned with our ambition.
