Therapeutic storytelling can be an effective, accessible and healing way of connecting with children that have experienced early adversity. This webinar will focus on supporting parents to use storytelling techniques with their children in order to create their own stories which can help to improve relationships, address challenging behaviour and make sense of traumatic experiences.

Trainers

Martin Okoli, Senior Psychological Therapist

Martin is a play therapist with experience of working in schools and with children impacted by domestic abuse. Additionally, he has also worked with adults and young people to support them through behaviour-change programmes to address their behaviour. He joined Family Futures in 2021 as part of the Assessment and Treatment team and has a keen interest in the use of storytelling as a healing tool.
