NPP introduction – an evidence based therapy for healing trauma

Watch the recording

Co-founder and CEO, Jay Vaughan, explains the Neuro Physiological Psychotherapy (NPP) therapy model developed and researched by Family Futures. For the past 25 years Family Futures has been using this researched-evidenced therapy, NPP, to improve outcomes for children who have experienced adversity and trauma in their early years. The model uses a body-based, holistic approach to healing developmental trauma and can be accessed for children through the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF).

Jay provides a brief explanation of the model, how it works so well for children, and why the connection between the body and the brain is important for healing. Jay also shares some findings from our published research, showing the difference in outcomes for children who received this holistic therapy compared with children who didn’t.  The recording includes a Q&A from the live webinar. Many thanks to all our attendees!
