Gender and Sexuality webinar for professionals

Gender and sexuality are present in everything we do in life, both implicitly and explicitly. They are central to family life, to child development, and to wider cultures and society.

This training webinar for professionals is created with a trauma informed approach. It covers an overview of the biological, psychological, and social aspects of gender and sexuality, focussing on (but not exclusively) those outside the cisgendered heteronormative frameworks.

In the webinar, Stephen discusses current thinking and research about what gender and sexuality are, how they are formed, and how they are experienced. You’ll understand the importance of language, how this is evolving and changing. You’ll also learn more about how gender and sexuality impact those we work with, how we approach linked issues, and how we can support children and families better.
