About me
I am an Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist registered with UKCP, who trained at Terapia (www.terapia.co.uk), with experience of working with children, young people, adults and families. I have previously worked in primary and secondary school settings, where I also supported parents and teachers around the therapy sessions with children. I have worked at a Secondary School delivering a therapy group for Year 8 boys struggling to attend school.
I have over 5 years’ experience therapeutically supporting adopted children or children under SGOs, adopted adults, birth parents and families. I also support adoptive parents and special guardians with therapeutic parenting strategies as an NVR Informed Practitioner (Level 2) and am also trained as an EMDR therapist, having completed Parts 1, 2 & 3 Adult EMDR Training, and Level 1 EMDR Child & Adolescent Training.
You can book EMDR sessions with Adrian through The Wellbeing Hub. Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, or EMDR is a therapeutic approach used to help people process distressing memories and experiences. If you are interested in EMDR therapy, you can contact The Wellbeing Hub for a free consultation. We are currently only offering EMDR to adults and adolescents but will be offering this intervention to younger children in the future
