As Agency Decision Maker I make decisions about people becoming prospective adopters. I read all the information about them and also consider the Adoption Panel's recommendation. As Non-Executive Director I meet with the other Directors and think about the service that Family Futures provides, what works well and what could be done differently. Providing the best service for the people who use Family Futures and the people who work here is what motivates me. I have worked in the field of adoption for a number of years, working directly with children needing adoption and their families, managing an Adoption team, working as an Agency Adviser and as a Head of Service for all Placements including fostering, special guardianship and connected carers. I supported an Authority in their transition to a Regional Adoption Agency and their adoption practice. I also Chair an Adoption Panel for a Regional Adoption Agency.
