BSc (Hons) Wildlife Conservation
My background in wildlife conservation developed my organisational, research and communication skills, as well as my ability to work carefully with detailed information. In my current role, I have developed experience coordinating assessments and therapy services, supporting up to 30 cases, liaising with families and professionals, and helping to coordinate funding and treatment programmes.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy getting creative through painting and embroidery. I’m also an avid reader, particularly when it comes to fantasy novels, and I love watching horror films. I enjoy having hobbies that let me switch off, get creative and escape into a completely different world.
As an Assessment and Therapy Services Coordinator, I help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, from organising assessments and therapy appointments to coordinating reports, funding and communication between families, professionals and our teams. No two days are quite the same, which is something I really enjoy about my role.
I have a personal understanding of the importance of accessing the right support. Having my own experience of OCD and accessing therapy as a child, I know how meaningful the right support can be for children and families. This gives me a genuine empathy for the families we work with and a strong personal interest in the work we do.
What I enjoy most is knowing that my role helps families access the therapy and funding they need. I’m proud to work for a not-for-profit organisation where the focus is on making a genuine difference, and knowing that my work contributes to that is what motivates me.
