I am a relationship-based practitioner with a playful approach and good sense of humour. I am very passionate about understanding the impact of trauma and attachment within families whilst promoting the importance of therapeutic parenting and play based techniques in helping build relationships.

I currently work in the iAdopt Team and my role consists of:

• Completing social work assessments for prospective parents by adoption
• Theraplay (MIM) assessment  
• Undertaking the Attachment Style Interview
• Joint work with therapists
• Supporting Family Finding, Matching and Transitions Process for families
• Providing parent support up until the Adoption Order is made
• Bespoke training throughout the adoption process with particular emphasis on directive and non-directive play techniques
