I am a UKCP-registered Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, trained at Terapia, with extensive experience working therapeutically with children, young people, adults, and families. My professional background includes work within both primary and secondary school settings, providing individual therapeutic support to pupils, as well as consultation and guidance to parents, carers, and educational staff to promote holistic support around a child's therapeutic journey. I have also facilitated therapeutic group interventions for secondary-aged pupils experiencing difficulties with school attendance and engagement.

I have over five years of experience supporting adopted children and young people, children subject to Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs), adopted adults, birth parents, and adoptive families. My practice is informed by an understanding of developmental trauma, attachment, loss, and identity, with a focus on promoting resilience and strengthening relationships within family systems.

In addition to psychotherapy, I support adoptive parents and special guardians through the provision of therapeutic parenting guidance and interventions. I am a Level 2 NVR-Informed Practitioner, drawing on Non-Violent Resistance approaches to help caregivers strengthen relationships and respond effectively to challenging behaviours.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), having completed Parts 1, 2, and 3 Adult EMDR Training, alongside Level 1 Child and Adolescent EMDR Training. EMDR is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that supports individuals in processing and recovering from distressing or traumatic experiences. I offer EMDR-informed interventions to adults, adolescents, and children where clinically appropriate.
