A gold-standard Autism assessment, in line with NICE guidelines, that can result in a diagnosis and recommendations for next steps.
What to expect
The assessment includes the ADOS, the Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised (ADIR) and information from the child’s school. We carry out the ADOS face-to-face, as this is particularly important for children and young people who find relating to people hard, in order to be aware of the nuances of relating that are crucial to making an assessment. The resulting report includes approaches for supporting the child and signposts to wider information about your child’s diagnosis (if one is made).
