We are excited to announce our 25th anniversary conference will be on Friday 20 October 2023. This will be a virtual event as we’d like as many people to attend as possible from across the UK.
The aim of the conference is to amplify the voices of care experienced young people on the theme of contact, and educate and discuss with parents, carers and professionals how they can best support their child or young person to maintain significant relationships safely.
Helping young people understand their background and identity is a key part of their development and we invite you to join us for discussion and workshops on a theme which is now more vital than ever as young people increasingly reach out to others through social media.
The challenge for parents/carers and professionals is to ensure that contact happens safely, at the young person’s pace, only when it is in their best interests and in the context of life story work.
This virtual conference will use #vFairs conference platform. As an attendee you’ll be able to set up your own profile, network with other attendees and re-watch our speakers and workshops for up to a month after the event.
