Jay Vaughan receives MBE
Congratulations to our CEO and co-founder Jay Vaughan, who received her MBE from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle this week for her services to children and young people.

Congratulations to our CEO and co-founder, Jay Vaughan MBE, on receiving her MBE in a ceremony at Windsor Castle this week. Jay was presented with her medal by Princess Anne in recognition of her services to children and young people.

Jay’s work has been hugely influential in the field of adoption support and working with care experienced children and families. For 25 years, Family Futures, co-founded by Jay, has pioneered holistic assessment and therapy for children who have experienced significant trauma with research-evidenced improvements in their outcomes.

Jay said about the ceremony this week,

“It was an honour to meet Princess Anne who showed a moving and very genuine interest in adoption and fostering and the work of Family Futures. I see this award as a tribute to all the children and families I’ve seen over the years and I feel it really matters to them that we have this recognition of the importance of the support we offer.

It is also a tribute to the amazing staff team at Family Futures, now and over the years, who have contributed to the development of our services. I hope the honour bestowed on me will help promote the need for life long support for children and young people from the care system and their families getting the expert support and care they need.”
