There’s no such thing as a ‘normal’ family, according to 65 per cent of Brits – this comes as National Adoption Week (21-27 October) this year aims to increase understanding of adoption and show that ‘the journey to a family is not always a traditional one’.
Family Futures is joining organisations around the country in supporting the national campaign which highlights different journeys of families created through adoption and the significant people who helped along the way. More people are being encouraged to consider a non-traditional route to starting a family through adoption.
If you are considering adoption and want to find out more, come along to our Information Evening on Wednesday 6th November at 18.30-20.00. You’ll hear from a parent about their experience and learn more about the adoption process, the children in need of loving families and the lifelong support available to all Family Futures children and adopters. Book your place here.
