Dan Hughes webinar – supporting your child’s return to school with PACE

25th August, 2-4pm live online (with a short break)

A live webinar with Dr Dan Hughes for parents and carers

Dr Dan Hughes, founder of DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy), will be addressing the issues parents and carers anticipate children will face on returning to school after the Covid-19 lockdown and will answer questions on how to support your child with these challenges.  Dan will give examples of how to have a conversation about difficult issues with children using PACE.

Family Futures is inviting parents and carers to send in questions for Dan when you book (questions need to be received by 18 August) about supporting your child with the return to school after the Covid-19 lockdown.

Dan Hughes’ therapeutic model of DDP involves assisting children (and their parents) understand their troubled past while also enhancing their ability to form trusting relationships with their adoptive parents or carers. Parenting skills including PACE (playful, accepting, curious and empathic) will be explored for assisting both children and their parents to experience greater safety during times of heightened stress.
